Klojen (malangkota.go.id) – On Wednesday evening, December 30, 2020, at the PCNU Office of Malang City, Jalan KH. Hasyim Asy'ari No. 21, Klojen District, Malang City, a gathering was held between the Malang City Police Chief and the management of the PC NU of Malang City.
During the gathering, the Malang City Police Chief, Senior Commissioner Leonardus Simarmata, said that as of today, it has been known to all that the Islamic Defenders Front (FPI) has been declared a banned mass organization.
"For that reason, we from the Police ask for support from PCNU Malang City and all Malang City residents to help create kamtibmas (public security and order) in order to suppress and even eliminate things that trigger any conflict, no matter how small," he continued.
Furthermore, Kapolresta Leo said that in general the community has fully supported the announcement issued by the Government, especially support for the TNI-Polri. "We hope that this support is also reflected and implemented well in Malang City," he invited.
The statement was welcomed by the Chairman of PCNU Malang City, Dr. Isroqunnajah, M.Ag. According to him, all residents of Malang City, especially Nahdliyin, want togetherness in this city and even for other areas.
"We ensure that all habaib and all habaib will support NU and give appreciation to NU, especially in Malang City, to help create a safe and conducive Malang City," he said.
Isroqunnajah also said that his party supports what maintains the Government's policy as long as it is for the benefit of the people. "We will also fully support the TNI-Polri, especially from the ranks of the Malang City Police in creating a harmonious, safe, peaceful Malang City that is free from various kinds of disturbances and threats to public order," he concluded.
