Malang City Forkopimda Inspects Health Protocols and Work from Home Rules

Malang, (malangkota.go.id) – Starting today, Monday (01/02/2021) related to the Implementation of the Second Volume of Community Activity Restrictions (PPKM), the Malang City Forkopimda has begun to intensify large-scale joint operations. This is in accordance with the instructions of the central government, because Covid-19 cases in East Java, especially in Malang City, continue to increase significantly every day.

Mayor of Malang, Drs. H. Sutiaji when leading the inspection of the implementation of the second volume of Community Activity Restrictions (PPKM)

If previously the operation was held at night, now it will also be carried out several times during the day. Like today a number of public service offices were targeted by the operation, namely the tax office, Bank Indonesia, the Post Office, financial services institutions and a business place.

In addition to ensuring the implementation of health protocols, the group led by the Mayor of Malang, Drs. H. Sutiaji, the regulation on the implementation of 25 percent work from home was the focus of the inspection by the Malang City Forkopimda. "Several targeted offices have generally complied with all the rules," said the bespectacled man.

When the group visited a Japanese-style restaurant on Jalan Wilis, it turned out that the visitors exceeded 50 percent of the capacity and triggered a crowd. The business manager was given a stern warning and given an inspection report (BAP). "If they still violate, they will be sealed. In every operation like this, officers will not tolerate it and if the violations are high, they will be sealed immediately," said Sutiaji.

"We have issued a circular that the rule of working in the office is 25 percent and working from home is 75 percent. In our joint operation, we checked the field regarding the rule to see the level of compliance. Because we know that the fluctuation of this virus is extraordinary and what is dangerous is the existence of a new mutation that is spread by People Without Symptoms (OTG). This is very dangerous and we must be extra vigilant," he explained.

At the sub-district and village levels, Sutiaji ordered that the discipline of implementing health protocols involve Babinsa, Babinkamtibmas, Lurah, and RT/RW heads. So if this movement is carried out massively and every citizen has high discipline, it is hoped that Covid-19 cases can be suppressed as much as possible. (say/ram)
