Lowokwaru, (malangkota.go.id) – Although building physical facilities is very important, we still have to think about the economy. This statement was made by the Mayor of Malang, Drs. H. Sutiaji when giving directions in the 2021 Development Planning Meeting (Musrenbang) in the context of preparing the 2022 Regional Government Work Plan (RKPD) in Lowokwaru District, Tuesday (2/2/2021).

According to him, Lowokwaru District must still think about the economy. Because in the midst of the current situation which is still the Covid-19 pandemic, high creativity is needed to survive. This musrenbang activity is important for planning development in Malang City so that it is even better.
"Whatever the government issues must be known to all levels starting from RT, RW, sub-district to district," said Sutiaji.
Through this path, it is hoped that what is done in the future can really be right on target and bring many benefits to the community. Especially in the current era, where the era is the era of information and technology (IT), everything must be accounted for transparently.
Because the community has mastered IT, it increasingly requires truly professional performance so that the hopes of the community can be realized. For that, in accordance with the strategic issues of Malang City and also the current national is to accelerate economic recovery.
Meanwhile, Lowokwaru Sub-district Head Joao Maria Gomes de Carvalho, S.IP said that many community proposals were included in the musrenbang. Later it will become a document for the preparation of the 2022 RKPD.
"A total of 1.066 development proposals were submitted during the musrenbang in Lowokwaru District. However, the priority proposals are environmental issues," he said.
Joao added that 80 percent of the proposals wanted improvements related to the environment. Such as to overcome flooding problems, making and repairing drainage channels, installing paving, and others. Although environmental problems are a priority, Joao admitted that currently other problems must also be accommodated, such as education and health problems that must not be forgotten. (cah/ram)
