Opening Klojen Musrenbang, Mayor Reminds of Priority Programs

Malang, (malangkota.go.id) – When opening the Sub-district Development Planning Meeting (Musrenbang) in the context of preparing the 2022 Regional Government Work Plan (RKPD) held in the hall of the Klojen Sub-district Office, Wednesday (03/02/2021) the Mayor of Malang, Drs. H. Sutiaji conveyed that development programs be implemented with a priority scale.

Head of Bappeda, Dwi Rahayu, initiated the signing of the Klojen sub-district work program

According to him, development programs must be separated, which are short, medium and long term. "All elements of society must be actively involved. And some sectors that must receive attention are related to flood management. Currently it is the rainy season and prone to disease outbreaks such as dengue fever," added the bespectacled man.

In addition, Sutiaji said that the handling and/or improvement of large markets and other traditional markets in the Klojen District area is targeted to be resolved in 2022. The number one person in the Malang City Government also asked DPRD members from the Klojen District electoral district who were also present at this event to also support development programs, especially those intended for the community.

Furthermore, Sutiaji said that there are three performance challenges in 2022, namely accelerating the achievement of the end-of-year target of the Regional Medium-Term Development Plan (RPJMD), resolving the city's main problems, overcoming the pandemic and economic recovery.

"The key is in handling the pandemic as conveyed by the President, so that we can be friends with Covid-19," he said.

In this regard, the public is advised to no longer implement 5M but 6M, namely wearing masks, washing hands, maintaining distance, avoiding crowds, limiting activities and maintaining immunity.

"Thus, all sectors will remain resilient and ultimately the economic recovery program will gradually show a good trend," continued Sutiaji.

A similar statement was made by the Deputy Mayor of Malang, Ir. H. Sofyan Edi Jarwoko. Through this musrenbang, he said, it should also be conveyed to the public that Covid-19 is getting more vicious. "All parties must be more vigilant and carry out what the Mayor has instructed," he said.

Klojen Sub-district Head, Heru Mulyono, S.IP., MT also admitted that he would carry out what the Mayor of Malang ordered. Especially because it is currently the rainy season, anticipation and handling of flooding due to high rainfall will be a special concern. Likewise, regarding the handling of Covid-19, Heru admitted that he would intensify coordination with the Covid-19 Task Force and various elements of society. So that in the future Covid-19 cases can continue to be suppressed as much as possible. (say/ram)
