Klojen, (malangkota.go.id) – Amidst his busy work schedule at the Malang City Government, the Mayor of Malang, Drs. H. Sutiaji, seemed unable to hide his happiness when he received a book. The number one person in the Malang City Government slowly opened the red and white-covered book, Friday (19/2/2021). The presence of Darmawan Prasodjo's book has further completed the book collection of this Lamongan-born man.
Sutiaji said that books are an item that is never separated from his life journey. Since he was in college until now, reading books has been a very exciting hobby. "Since I was a student, I like to write as well as read books. I often write book reviews," explained Sutiaji.
Sutiaji added, until now he always makes time to buy books. Through books, much knowledge, insight, and inspiration are gained to share knowledge.
A friend of the Mayor of Malang, Nick Nurrachman, revealed that the book brought to the mayor was a book by Darmawan Prasodjo. The book tells the story of the President of the Republic of Indonesia Joko Widodo. "The book tells the story of how Mr. Joko Widodo realized Indonesia's dream. It tells the story of Mr. Jokowi from when he was a carpenter to becoming President of Indonesia," explained Nick.
"Currently, the book for the Mayor of Malang by Darmawan Prasodjo is still not available on the market. If there are no obstacles, President Joko Widodo's book realizing the new Indonesian dream will be officially launched in March 2021," he said. (cah/ram)
