Malang, (malangkota.go.id) – Planting pule trees is an idea of the Deputy Mayor of Malang, Ir. H. Sofyan Edi Jarwoko to foster enthusiasm and accustom people from all walks of life to love the environment more. Planting pule trees is intended for reforestation, clean air, and the beauty of Malang City so that green open spaces (RTH) are created.

"If we focus, God willing, Malang will be as cool as before," said Bung Edi, the nickname of the Deputy Mayor of Malang, Monday (22/02/2021) in front of the Pisang Candi Urban Village office, Jalan Anggur No. 1 Malang.
Cooperation with all parties, he said, such as with the campus is also needed, for example by requiring new students to plant trees. Bung Edi said that every year there are almost every 100 thousand new students in Malang and if this planting is realized it will certainly be very good for the greening of Malang City.
On this occasion, Bung Edi also reviewed the Micro Community Activity Restrictions (PPKM) Implementation post in Pisang Candi Village. Micro PPKM is an affirmation of all forms of efforts to handle the pandemic that have been carried out so far. By limiting community interaction, it is hoped that the transmission of Covid-19 can be suppressed.

"Our society is different. There are also those who sometimes ask for the bodies of Covid-19 patients to be taken home first even though according to the protocol it is not allowed. So it requires cooperation, communication, and coordination from all groups," he said.
It is hoped that public servants will not tire of providing education and understanding to the public regarding this matter. Sensitivity to field conditions is also very much needed, for example to conduct tracing and monitoring of the public.
"The community must also have a saturation point, so our goal in coming is to motivate, encourage, and thank all parties for their hard work in handling the Covid-19 pandemic," he concluded. (ari/ram)
