Malang, (malangkota.go.id) – The Mayor of Malang, Drs. H. Sutiaji conveyed and encouraged every work unit to grow the economy and investment. Capital expenditure in the Malang City Government environment has not yet reached 20 percent of the total allocation of around IDR 2 billion. He conveyed this when opening the regional apparatus forum event discussing the draft work plan for 2022 at the Savana Hotel, Malang City, Monday (22/02/2021).

In the event led by the Manpower, Investment and Integrated One-Stop Service Office (Disnaker PMPTSP), the bespectacled man pushed for capital expenditure to be boosted even more and the investment process to be made easier. "Now the most important thing is how economic growth continues to grow and this must be our commitment and concentration," added Sutiaji.
Furthermore, the Mayor of Malang said that open unemployment in Malang City is still high and is ranked third in East Java. The highest contributor is from universities, therefore it is necessary to re-arrange the learning curriculum. "On the other hand, the creative economy potential of East Java and especially Malang City is very high, but its leverage still needs to be increased. Malang Creative Center (MCC) will later become an incubator for the creative economy," he continued.
Meanwhile, to facilitate investment, Sutiaji explained, one of them will soon be a public service mall that will occupy the former Ramayana Mall. This regional apparatus forum is a way to accommodate containers, proposals, and others so that the service center will later be integrated and run optimally. "Disnaker PMPTSP as the driving force should be able to work optimally because later there will be around 400 licensing and non-licensing services," he explained.
Related to this, Head of Disnaker PMPTSP, Erik Setyo Santoso, ST., MT said that the public service mall program is currently in the finalization phase of the design review and is in the final stage. So in March 2021 it is estimated to enter the next process, namely in the Procurement Service Unit (ULP) for the physical auction process. Furthermore, in August it is targeted to be inaugurated.
Several programs, according to Erik, include reducing open unemployment, increasing ease of doing business and/or investment, providing more optimal services, especially with the presence of Law Number 11 of 2020 concerning Job Creation. "For ease of investment, regional regulations (perda) which are derivatives of the Job Creation Law are under extra discussion. Like for any permit, later there will only be one counter or what is called a parallel permit, thus simplifying and shortening the process," he said.
In the first quarter, his party targeted the regulation to be completed so that it can be continued or discussed internally in the Malang City DPRD. Meanwhile, to reduce the number of unemployed, said Erik, it will be done conventionally and follow the development of information technology or the development of the creative economy. "This potential in Malang City is very large and only needs to add facilities and provide stimulation for further development," he explained.
For priority services, Erik explained, there will be at least 129 basic services, such as population and civil registration, as well as investment and capital investment. A number of services will also be synchronized, such as to take care of 10 permits, one file is enough, or in other words, the file that runs is no longer the person.
"No less interesting, the location of the public service mall will increasingly provide easy access because it is located at the zero point of Malang City and when someone enters this place, any matter can be served," he concluded. (say/ram)
