Deputy Mayor of Malang, Ir. H. Sofyan Edi Jarwoko when opening the consolidation and discussion activities of the healthy city order program, said that during the Covid-19 pandemic, we should be grateful because we are still given the gift of health and the opportunity to provide work, and devotion to the community for the good of the city and society.

According to Bung Edi, Sofyan Edi Jarwoko's nickname, this agenda is a forum to actualize programs that have been planned in 2021, including planning other programs next year. He also emphasized that collaboration with all parties in Malang City, as well as stakeholders, is very necessary.

"Currently, the benchmark is the provisions and regulations that are our main umbrella in every activity. So whatever it is, it must be on the track. This must be the main concern," said Bung Edi.

In addition, every activity must be adjusted to the current conditions being faced, namely the Covid-19 pandemic. The heterogeneous and urban society of Malang City from various regions in Indonesia and even the world, needs intensive handling to accompany community activities, especially students who continue to come to Malang City.

"Malang as a city of education would certainly be much more perfect and complete if FKS with its duties and functions could be aligned with ideas from academics," he said.

Meanwhile, the Head of FMKS Malang City Samsul Hadi expressed his gratitude to the Deputy Mayor of Malang who always accompanied and facilitated. He hopes that Malang City will continue to obtain the Swasti Saba Wistara predicate.

"Not only that, we want Malang City to not just follow the competition trend, but every year there is an improvement to the ten existing arrangements. There is an increase in infrastructure, there is an increase in quality, and so on. This is what we expect," explained Samsul Hadi.

Because FKS routinely carries out verification every year, Samsul hopes that there will still be budgeting for activities that have been planned by FMKS Malang City.

Also present at the event, Head of Procurement Services Drs. R. Widjaja Saleh Putra accompanied the Deputy Mayor of Malang and became a resource person at the event. In addition, the event also invited the Healthy Subdistrict Communication Forum (FKKS) and the Malang City Health Office. (yon/ram)
