One of them is to create this ideal by making a joint agreement between the Malang City Government and the Financial and Development Supervisory Agency (BPKP) of East Java Province at Malang City Hall, Thursday (4/3/2021).

The Mayor of Malang, Drs. H. Sutiaji said that this activity is a form of strong commitment from the Malang City Government to continue improving good governance. If managed well, it is expected to realize good governance. "Through this agreement, we hope to realize good governance or good and transparent government management," explained Sutiaji.
Activities include regional financial management, budget planning, procurement of goods and services and accountability for budget implementation, as well as increasing local revenue. In addition, it is also for the development and implementation of regional financial accounting systems, the development and implementation of government agency performance accountability systems (SAKIP), and regional government implementation reports (LPPD).
Meanwhile, this activity also includes the implementation of supervision and improvement of the capabilities of the regional government's internal supervisory apparatus, development and implementation of the government's internal control system (SPIP), development of the implementation of the fraud control plan (FCP), development of human resources and regional public service agencies (BLUD).
Head of BPKP East Java Representative Alexander Rubi Satyoadi confirmed that the signing of the memorandum of understanding was related to performance management. Where the context is the affirmation of the form of commitment of BPKP and Malang City Government. "Although without a joint agreement, it is already the task of each function. We will oversee the implementation of regional finances and the implementation of national development," said Alex.
Alex added that with this mutual agreement, it is a commitment from both parties to implement performance management. All organizations, whether ministries, institutions or regions, are closely related to good governance.
