Malang, (malangkota.go.id) – To continue to suppress Covid-19 cases, the Malang City Government has made various efforts, including holding mass vaccinations in the near future. This mass vaccination will be carried out on the spot or using cars that will go around to a number of places.
This program has also been awaited and asked by many parties, such as universities, online motorcycle taxi drivers, traders and others. This was conveyed by the Mayor of Malang, Drs. H. Sutiaji on Thursday (04/03/2021). According to this bespectacled man, his party is currently making various preparations to implement the program. For example, by instructing him with the Acting Regional Secretary of Malang City to immediately conduct a simulation.
One of the benchmarks and targets of the program, said Sutiaji, is that the Covid-19 vaccine injection reaches 8.000 per day, where currently it is still around 6.000. If 8.000 vaccinations can be realized, according to him, it will further strengthen the launch of Malang City as a pilot project for mass vaccination entrusted by the Ministry of Health.
The number one person in the Malang City Government added that for now what is considered to take a long time is the health check process before someone undergoes vaccination. Although basically Malang City is ready to carry out the event, the vaccine quota from the central government is still in the confirmation stage or waiting for the arrival of the required vaccine.
"If this mass vaccination can be realized soon and Malang City becomes one of the cities trusted by the Ministry of Health as a pilot project, then Covid-19 cases can be suppressed as much as possible. Of course, this is our common hope and we hope that all can be realized soon. However, all citizens should continue to implement health protocols strictly," concluded Sutiaji. (say/ram)
