Malang, (malangkota.go.id) – Arema FC held a joint training with its junior team, namely Arema FC U-20 on Saturday (6/3/2021) at Ketawang Field, Malang. This match was also used as evaluation material by the coaching staff of the team with the lion's head logo.
"We don't look at the results. Victory is not what we are looking for. But we see how this team shows progress from the results of training," said Arema FC Assistant Coach, Kuncoro after monitoring the joint training.
On the other hand, Kuncoro said that his party also wanted to see how far the players' resilience was on the field, considering that the regular training session had only started two weeks ago so that the team evaluation was more comprehensive.
In the joint training Arema FC U-20 was able to match the game of its seniors, even the team coached by Doni Suherman was ahead first. The final score of the match was 6-2 for Arema FC (senior)'s advantage. Arema FC's winning goals were scored by Wiga Brilian Syahputra (2 goals), Jayus Hariono, Seiya Da Costa Lay, Dedik
Setiawan (2 goals) and Rizky Dwi. Meanwhile, Arema FC U-20's two goals were scored by Muhammad Aanil Razky and Raldy Tegar.
Several trainings are planned to continue to be held by the coaching staff of the team nicknamed the crazy lion. This is also an effort to prepare the team in welcoming the pre-season competition titled the 2021 Menpora Cup which will be held on March 23, 2021. (say/ram)
