Tree Planting Movement Continues to Remote Areas of the City

Breadfruit, (malangkota.go.id) – The planting movement carried out by the Malang City Government continues to the remote areas of the city. This time, the Deputy Mayor of Malang, Ir. H. Sofyan Edi Jarwoko led the planting of pule trees at SDN Tanjungrejo 2 Malang City, Wednesday (10/3/2021).

Not only planting trees, Bung Edi, the nickname of the Deputy Mayor of Malang, was also given a surprise with the Pule tree march song. This shows that more and more parties care about the planting movement in Malang City.

"The planting movement carried out by the Malang City Government is currently not only booming in Malang City. The flood of information provided has made many other regions in Indonesia want to do the same thing," said Bung Edi.

Bung Edi said that because of the viral planting of pule trees in Malang City, finally many other areas asked for pule tree seedlings from Malang City. Because pule trees have many benefits, for example for greening to herbal medicine. "Not only is it interesting to be made as a shade plant and medicinal plant. Pule trees are also very good as bonsai plants," continued Bung Edi.

During this time, it is not only residents who have begun to have a strong desire to plant trees. But students and teachers have also begun to encourage planting pule trees in the school environment. (cah/ram)
