Klojen, (malangkota.go.id) – The Mayor of Malang, Drs. H. Sutiaji received an audience with the Indonesian Veteran Legion (LVRI) at Malang City Hall, Wednesday (10/3/2021). The purpose of this audience was to foster friendship and build synergy together.
The Head of LVRI Malang City, Harijono said that the meeting between LVRI and the Mayor of Malang was to improve friendship and build synergy in the future. He admitted that as a new person, there are many things that must be done so that LVRI can contribute to the development of Malang City.
"There are many LVRI agendas that will be carried out in the future, including transmitting to the younger generation the Soul, Spirit and Values of '45 (JSN 45)," explained Harijono.
Harijono added, JSN 45 is very important so that the generation of the Indonesian nation who currently lives in the global era does not lose its national spirit. For that, it is necessary to educate children from an early age.
He also mentioned the need for synergy with the Malang City Government. Because if only relying on LVRI alone, of course there is only a little that can be done to educate the public about JSN 45.
"Communication with the government is important and in accordance with Law Number 15 of 2015 concerning LVRI. The goal is to advance Malang City together," Harijono emphasized. (cah/ram)
