Sutiaji when he was one of the speakers at the technical guidance event for the implementation of steam (science, technology, engineering, art and mathematics) in Early Childhood Education (PAUD) in the hall of the Education and Culture Office, Wednesday (10/03/2021).
This learning is so that children can recognize their identity, so it is necessary to strengthen the child's faith and character. Students are like plants. "Influencing them, yes, it's up to us as parents and/or teachers to direct them where," added the bespectacled man.
Furthermore, he said that PAUD is an important education because it is very basic and is a much-needed educational investment. "If a child's faith is strong, they will think progressively, achieve and their life will be better," he explained.
Head of the Malang City Education and Culture Office, Suwarjana, SE., MM said that this event was to emphasize the importance of implementing learning management in educational units based on steam. So that it can support the achievement of a curriculum that contains higher order thinking skills (hots).
"So that the hope can improve the ability and competence of teachers. This is in order to improve and enhance professional services for teachers in handling the learning process based on mastery of technology, as well as art by reflecting on the development of science and technology and the advancement of culture," he added.
As a follow-up plan for activities through changes to the 2021 financial budget (PAK) or the 2022 regional budget (APBD), Suwarjana explained, an assessment will be carried out on the best PAUD units in implementing steam and on groups that have succeeded in socializing steam to all members.
