Klojen, (malangkota.go.id) – The plenary meeting to deliver the final opinions of the factions on the discussion of the Draft Regional Regulation (Ranperda) on Business Service Retribution went smoothly at the Malang City DPRD building, Friday (12/3/2021). Of the six Malang City DPRD factions that delivered their opinions, they agreed to make changes.
The delivery of the final opinion of this faction is a continuation of the plenary session of the delivery of the report of the special committee (Pansus) on the Draft Regional Regulation on Business Service Retributions regarding the amendment to Regional Regulation (Perda) Number 2 of 2011.
The National Awakening Party (PKB) faction envoy, Abdul Wahid, said that PKB encouraged the Malang City Government to prioritize public services and utilize regional assets used by the community.
"There is still confusion about whether there are assets that are leased or assets that are subject to levies. We ask that there really be strong control," explained Wahid.
Wahid added that strong control must be observed over assets leased to third parties or assets leased back for community needs. Asset management, including recording, must be seriously pursued by the Malang City Government.
Meanwhile, the Social Welfare Party (PKS) Faction, H. Rohmad said that the Malang City Government must provide the best service, especially for basic services to the community. "Must pay attention to the principles of justice, caution by considering the economy of the community and business service actors," he said.
He asked the Malang City Government to improve the synergy of regional apparatus with the community. So that this regulation is made by the Malang City DPRD and the Malang City Government. The goal is that its implementation can run effectively, efficiently, transparently, and accountably, especially in calculating retribution rates in accordance with applicable regulations.
In addition, he also encouraged the Malang City Government to conduct a complete socialization of the Regional Regulation on Business Service Retribution to all stakeholders. Especially to business service actors who are the objects of the implementation of this regulation. "Therefore, in the socialization later, the regulations must be complete which will lead to an increase in local revenue," said Rohmad.
Meanwhile, Deputy Chairman of the Malang City DPRD, Abdurahman who led the session revealed that the Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle (PDI-P) Faction accepted and approved the Draft Regional Regulation on Business Service Retribution to become a Malang City Regional Regulation. Likewise with the PKB Faction, PKS Faction, Gerindra Faction, Democrat Peace Faction, Golkar-NasDem-PSI Faction, and PAN-Perindo Faction.
Also present at the event were the Mayor of Malang Drs. H. Sutiaji; Deputy Mayor of Malang Ir. H. Sofyan Edi Jarwoko, Acting Regional Secretary of Malang Ir. Hadi Santoso, as well as members of the Malang City DPRD and heads of regional apparatus of the Malang City Government. (cah/ram)
