Malang, (malangkota.go.id) – The Malang City Government together with the Tulungagung Regency Government held a friendly badminton match at SMA Negeri 8 Malang, Saturday (13/03/2021). This match took place lively even in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic, but participants still adhered to strict health protocols.
"We make this activity as a gathering and friendship between the Malang City Government and the Tulungagung Regency Government, because in any case we must work together in the development of East Java," said Acting Regional Secretary (Sekda) of Malang City, Ir. Hadi Santoso.
Soni, the nickname of the Regional Secretary of Malang City, invited everyone to fight Covid-19. In this visit, the Tulungagung Regency Government sent 28 people. The Tulungagung Regency Government, represented by the Assistant for Economy and Development, Rahadi Puspita Bintara, expressed appreciation for the welcome to the Tulungagung Regency Government group and looked forward to a return visit from the Malang City Government.
The friendly badminton match between the two regions was intended to improve ties and to increase immunity as an effort to prevent the transmission of Covid-19. In the first match, the Mayor of Malang Drs. H. Sutiaji also played against representatives from the Tulungagung Regency Government. (ari/ram)
