Malang, (malangkota.go.id) – The development and progress of the world of technology and information today is extraordinary. What needs to be known is that the information that is spread/circulated is not only textual but also contextual, and the information can be likened to dust, which can fly anywhere at any time.
That was what the Mayor of Malang, Drs. H. Sutiaji, said when opening the information security resource capacity building event held by the Malang City Communication and Informatics Service (Diskominfo) at the Ijen Suites Hotel, Monday (15/03/2021).
According to the bespectacled man, the world is divided into 3, namely agrarian, technological, and information that seems almost without limits of space and time. "However, there is information that can be accessed or given to the public and there is some that is not or is confidential. This is what the public must understand so as not to underestimate the existence of state officials," he added.
Therefore, Sutiaji explained, information resilience is needed. This is also to provide education to the community and there is a shared vision, especially in realizing various development programs. "In this case, the level of community literacy is certainly not the same, so it does require a detailed explanation," he explained.
Furthermore, Sutiaji said that technological sophistication and information resilience must be accompanied or balanced with norms and good morals so that everything runs according to its path. "State Civil Apparatus (ASN) as public servants must understand and implement all of that, so that what the government programs can be understood by the public," he continued.
A similar statement was delivered by the Head of Malang City Communication and Information Office, Muhammad Nur Widianto. According to him, through this program, it is hoped that ASN can be the vanguard in presenting appropriate and accommodating information to the public. "Thus, from this information, it will not cause multiple interpretations," he said. (say/ram)
