Malang, (malangkota.go.id) – The Malang City Government through the Health Service (Dinkes) carried out vaccinations for 158 PKK cadres in Malang City at the Kartini Imperial Building, Tuesday (23/03/2021). This event was attended by the Mayor of Malang, Drs. H. Sutiaji accompanied by the Chairperson of the Malang City PKK TP Hj. Widayati Sutiaji, S. Sos., MM, Deputy Chairperson I of the PKK TP Elly Estiningtyas Sofyan Edi Jarwoko, ST and Head of the Health Service dr. Husnul Muarif.

In his speech, Sutiaji advised the PKK cadres to always strengthen their gratitude for the blessings of health and life that they have received until now. PKK cadres in their service to the community require quite high mobility so that they have a risk of being exposed to Covid-19.
"Therefore, the Malang City Government is paying attention, including in the form of vaccinations that began today to increase immunity. Of course, supported by always implementing disciplined post-vaccination health protocols," said Sutiaji.
Sutiaji also hopes that with this vaccination, the cadres can be more role models in educating the community, especially those who still have doubts about the vaccination program being run by the government. "Intend it as worship, promoting goodness," said the man who is often asked to give Friday sermons by residents.
On this occasion, he also had time to convey a message regarding the issue of the AstraZeneca vaccine that has emerged recently. It was explained that in an emergency situation, it confirms what the MUI has conveyed, that it is legally permissible because there is no substitute.
This was emphasized so that people who have doubts about their beliefs can gain understanding. The current vaccine stock in Malang City is the Sinovac vaccine and has been prepared for the launch of elderly vaccination on the occasion of the 107th anniversary of Malang City, April 1, 2021. (ndu/ram)
