Malang, (malangkota.go.id) – The 107th anniversary of Malang City which falls on April 1, 2021, was commemorated amidst the Covid-19 pandemic. However, all parties should be grateful because several achievements were carved, including the 2018 Regional Government Implementation Report (LPPD) award, the 2019 Government Agency Performance Accountability (SAKIP) award, the Unqualified Opinion (WTP) award for the 2019 Fiscal Year Regional Government Report, the City Cares About Human Rights award, and third place in the Implementation of 10 PKK Programs at the East Java Province Level.
In addition, the e-Commerce-Based Economic Recovery award, the Disaster Resilient Village award in the Middle Category at the East Java Provincial Level, two TOP Kovablik awards for East Java 2020, namely the Fresh Innovation of Kagemi SMPN 10 Malang City entered the TOP 30 of the Public Service Innovation Competition (Kovablik) and the Diapers House Innovation from the Polowijen Health Center, Malang City Health Office entered the TOP 45 of the East Java Province Kovablik 2020, and the 2020 National TPAKD Award.
No less interesting, the Madyopuro terminal won second place in the Healthy Terminal Type C from the Directorate General of Public Health, Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia, the Smart Trader Market School (Sepasar Pedas) program received the TOP 45 Public Service Innovation award in 2020 from the Ministry of Empowerment of State Apparatus and Bureaucratic Reform (Kemenpan RB), and the TOP Digital Implementation award 2020 on City Government.
In conjunction with the 107th anniversary of Malang City, the Malang City Government received the first best 2020 BKN Award in the category of needs planning, procurement services, ranks, and pensions at the city level nationally.
The award was presented by the Head of the National Civil Service Agency (BKN) and the Governor of East Java, and officially received by the Head of the Malang City Civil Service and Human Resources Development Agency (BKPSDM) at the East Java Governor's Office on Thursday (1/04/2021).
These are some of the things conveyed by the Mayor of Malang, Drs. H. Sutiaji in the commemoration of the 107th Anniversary of Malang City. According to him, of course, amidst the development movement, his party always appeals to all Malang City residents to comply with all policies issued by the Malang City Government regarding Covid-19.
In addition, he also appealed to the public to implement and carry out 6M in every activity to comply with health protocols, namely wearing masks, washing hands with soap and running water, maintaining distance, reducing mobility, increasing immunity with a healthy diet and exercise, and avoiding crowds.
"This is a continuous action taken to reduce or break the chain of the spread of Covid-19 in Malang City. Of course, everything will run well if followed by high awareness, compliance and understanding from the community with the hope that Malang City can become a zero Covid-19 city," added Sutiaji.
After the flag ceremony, at this moment the 2021 family data collection program and the launch of the healthy family movement were also launched, the launch of the drive thru Covid-19 vaccination for the elderly (lansia) and the handover of land title certificates that are assets of the Malang City Government from the National Land Agency (BPN) and symbolically received by the Mayor of Malang.
