Bung Edi Invites the Elderly to Live Happily

Malang, (malangkota.go.id) – Attention to the elderly has been extraordinary, especially regarding health services and one of the real proofs is that today Malang City received an award in the context of National Health Day. In Malang City, Ciptomulyo Village, Sukun District is one of the villages that pays more attention to the elderly.

Deputy Mayor of Malang, Ir. H. Sofyan Edi Jarwoko advised the elderly to remain productive even in the midst of a pandemic.

So that in the future, various parties, especially in 57 sub-districts in Malang City, should do the same thing. Thus, these elderly people remain healthy and productive, and remain happy in living their lives in their old age.

These were some of the things conveyed by the Deputy Mayor of Malang, Ir. H. Sofyan Edi Jarwoko when opening the commemoration of the 107th Anniversary of Malang City and the birthday of the Karang Werda cooperation forum 'Pendowo Limo' in the hall of the Sukun District Office, Tuesday (06/04/2021).

The bespectacled man added that these elderly people should remain disciplined in implementing health protocols. Because these elderly people are a group that is vulnerable to being exposed to the Covid-19 virus. "For those who have been scheduled to receive the vaccine, it should be carried out so that it can reduce the triggers for someone being exposed to Covid-19," appealed the man who is also often called Bung Edi.

Bung Edi, who is also the Head of the Malang City Elderly Committee 2018-2023, also invited the elderly not to lose heart, always be happy, and live life well. At this moment, he invited the elderly to sing together with the Sukun Sub-district Head, Widi Eka Wirawan, S. Sos., MM.

Widi added that his party will continue to provide a forum and facilitate what the elderly need because they are also an important part of the residents of Malang City and Sukun District in particular. (say/ram)
