Its name is Ronde Titoni which is located on Jalan Zainul Arifin Number 17, Malang City. It turns out that Ronde Titroni has been around since 1948. "In the past, my grandfather, Abdul Hadi, carried his merchandise around Pasar Besar, Kidul Dalem. If it was around 20.00 WIB or 21.00 WIB, he would sell in front of Toko Arloji Titoni, that's why it is known as Ronde Titoni," explained Rizky, Abdul Hadi's grandson.

In 1988, Ronde Titoni began to settle in a shop on Jalan Zainul Arifin No. 17. Now Ronde Titoni, which is located in the Kidul Dalem area, is managed by Sugeng, Abdul Hadi's son. Ronde Titoni also has several branches, including on Jalan Kawi and near PMI Malang City. All are managed by the children and grandchildren of the founder.

In this shop, there are two types of ronde offered, namely wet ronde and dry ronde. The difference is, the wet ronde is served mixed with ginger sauce. While for the dry ronde, the rice flour balls are coated with peanut powder, with ginger sauce served separately.

Not only ronde is the mainstay, angsle in this shop is also a favorite of many people. In addition, you can also enjoy peanut soup, fried bread and also cakwe. For a bowl of ronde, angsle, or peanut soup is priced at IDR 10 thousand to IDR 12 thousand while for fried bread or cakwe the price is IDR 4 thousand.

During this pandemic, Sugeng serves his customers Monday - Saturday from 17.00 - 22.00 WIB with the help of three employees. On average, his gross income is around Rp1,5 million per day. This old-style shop is never empty of buyers, both from Malang and outside the city. In fact, capital city artists such as Duta So7, Comedian Pepy, and Polo Srimulat have also visited the Ronde Titoni shop. (ari/ram)
