Kedungkandang, (malangkota.go.id) – In order to revive the arts in the eastern part of Malang City, artists held an exhibition and creativity at the 'Malang Jayati' cultural activity at the Madyopuro Terminal on April 9-11, 2021. This exhibition is also to commemorate the 107th anniversary of Malang City.
Head of UPT Pasar Madyopuro Malang City, Agus Ahmad Syaiku revealed that this activity was an initiative of Malang City artists. The goal is to increase the passion for art in Malang City. "This activity is packaged with the Malang Jayati activity which is a sign of the revival of art in Malang City," explained Agus.
Through this event, he said, the art community in Malang City has an art market that can be displayed later, like Bandung City and Bali. "Considering that behind this place is a toll exit. Later, the hope is that when tourists want to enter the city and exit Malang City, this art market is the transit for tourists," said Agus.
To support the effort, Agus said that the Malang City Cooperative, Industry and Trade Service (Diskopindag) is ready to fully support by including UMKM products. "Diskopindag is the place for UMKM, business actors in us are ready to support this activity," concluded Agus. (cah/ram)
