Malang, (malangkota.go.id) – Distribution facilities and infrastructure in East Java are confirmed to be safe after the 6,7 magnitude earthquake that hit Malang Raya on Saturday (10/04/2021) at 14.00 WIB. The supply of energy needs in the form of fuel oil (BBM), Liquified Petroleum Gas (LPG) and other derivative products such as lubricants and petrochemicals in the East Java region is also confirmed to be safely available without any problems.

Unit Manager of Communication, Relations & CSR Pertamina Marketing Region Jatimbalinus, Deden Idhani, said that there was no impact from the 6,7 magnitude earthquake incident on energy distribution operations in East Java.
"A total of two Integrated Terminals, four Fuel Terminals, four DPPUs, six LPG Supply Points, and 920 gas stations are confirmed to be in a safe condition to continue providing energy for the people of East Java," said Deden.
Meanwhile, in the Malang Raya area as an affected area. Pertamina also continues to ensure that official distribution institutions such as gas stations and LPG agents are in a safe condition to distribute energy to the community.
"A total of 80 gas stations, 62 PSO LPG agents, and nine NPSO LPG agents also continued to operate normally after the earthquake that occurred this afternoon. A total of one gas station and one SPBN had minor damage to the building walls. However, it did not affect distribution operations in the field," added Deden.
