In the economic sector, Malang City has halal tourism, hotels and malls which in this case are intended for all people. The manufacturing industry and industries that focus on the creative economy continue to grow with the increasing emergence of creative young communities.
These are some of the things conveyed by the Mayor of Malang, Drs. H. Sutiaji when receiving a working visit from Commission X of the Indonesian House of Representatives at the Malang City Hall, Monday (12/04/2021). These various efforts, he explained, are also in line with the Tribina Cita of Malang City, where Malang City is a city of education, tourism and industry.
Another effort that also supports the progress of Malang City in various sectors, added Mayor Sutiaj, is a synergy labeled pentahelix, namely academics, business, community, government, and media. But for now it is hexahelix, where banking is included in it to support and strengthen MSMEs and creative economy actors.
What was conveyed by the number one person in the Malang City Government received appreciation from the Deputy Chairman of Commission X of the Indonesian House of Representatives, Dr. Dede Yusuf, ST., MI.Pol. According to him, Malang City has a very good program and can be an example for other regions.
Dede said that one of the objectives of his working visit to Malang City today is in line with strengthening the Malang City Government program. In addition, his party will review the preparation of face-to-face schools, related to supporting facilities for health protocols and others.
Dede also said that his party is currently revising the rules related to the national education system and national sports. So that later the synchronization of the two things will strengthen each other even more.
He gave an example, for educational sports will be more intensified because so far the sports program of educational institutions has been less than optimal. The reason is that students are less active so they spend more time surfing the internet, and that is not good for children's growth and development.
For achievement sports, Dede added, the party requested that each school should have at least three superior sports. Meanwhile, for recreational or community sports, each local government, including the Malang City Government, must also provide the necessary supporting facilities.
