Malang, (malangkota.go.id) – The Mayor of Malang, Drs. H. Sutiaji laid the first stone for the construction of the An Nahdlah Mosque on Jalan Lahor 38 B, RT 4 RW 4 Bunulrejo, Blimbing District, Sunday (11/04/2021). He hopes that the construction of this mosque will provide blessings so that it can bring increased goodness.
"Doing good to people is actually doing good to yourself. I often instill this in ASN, that doing good to people is actually doing good to yourself," said Sutiaji.
Sutiaji also expressed his hope that the construction of the mosque can run smoothly. Because the construction of this place of worship is a common interest of Muslims, including to develop human closeness to Allah SWT. "I hope all parties help and together build the An Nahdlah Mosque to be the most important part of our faith, worship, ideals," he continued.
Rais Syuriyah MWCNU Blimbing, KH. Saifuddin Zuhri said that the mosque as the home of all believers, across differences becomes a place to strengthen faith. In addition to the mosque as the house of Allah, it is also a place to strengthen brotherhood because brotherhood is the gateway to grace.
"There are so many mosques in Indonesia if all differences can be harmonious, God willing, all will have the spirit of defending religion, defending the country, defending religion that does not damage the country, and defending the country that does not damage religion. God willing, this mosque will be a blessing for Indonesia until the end of our lives," added KH Saifuddin Zuhri.
The chairman of the mosque construction committee, H. Didik Saksono hopes that the mosque built on Malang City Government land with an area of around 190 square meters can be worked on and completed soon. So that the congregation who are not only residents in the surrounding area can be active every day to worship at the mosque.
"I thank you on behalf of the residents, with the establishment of a place of worship later it is hoped that it can revive our worship," concluded Didik. (eka/ram)
