Malang, (malangkota.go.id) – The Mayor of Malang, Drs. H. Sutiaji, clarified and straightened out the regulation on the prohibition of selling takjil on the roadside. Because in a few days it had reaped misinterpretation among the public, where the public assumed that there was a ban on the sale of takjil food.

Through his Instagram account, sam.sutiaji on Tuesday (13/04/2021), said that residents are allowed to sell takjil on the side of the road and what is prohibited is if it reaches the roadside. "We allow people to sell snacks to break the fast or takjil as long as they do not disturb road users," explained Sutiaji.
The bespectacled man added that his party asked residents to understand and implement what had been determined. "If everyone obeys the rules, it will be good. Residents can earn a living and road users will not be disturbed," continued Sutiaji.
Later, explained the number one person in the Malang City Government, officers from the Transportation Agency, Satpol PP, and TNI-Polri will be deployed especially at points prone to congestion. Such as on Jalan Soekarno Hatta, Jalan Raya Sulfat, Jalan Trunojoyo and around Jalan Kyai Tamin.
"So I convey and emphasize again, it's not that you are not allowed to sell takjil, it is allowed but it must be orderly, not selling on the roadside and not causing traffic jams. Likewise with the distribution of takjil food, it must follow similar rules," concluded Sutiaji. (say/ram)
