Klojen, (malangkota.go.id) – The Indonesian Society of Botanical Artist (IDSBA) in collaboration with artists from Sadikin Pard Gallery held an art exhibition and charity auction entitled 'Seruang Karya' from April 21, 2021 to May 18, 2021 at The Shalimar Boutique Hotel, Malang, Wednesday (21/4/2021).

At this event, there are 83 botanical artworks and more than 30 impressionist paintings by 40 artists on display. In addition to the art exhibition and charity auction, this event also held demonstrations, open studios, talk shows, and various other interesting events.
The Mayor of Malang, Drs. H. Sutiaji appreciates all parties who have contributed, and supported the implementation of this art exhibition and charity auction. According to him, the concern of artists, painters, and various parties by holding this art exhibition and charity auction deserves appreciation.
“May all your deeds be accepted by Almighty God. "Hopefully, slowly but surely the disasters that keep coming repeatedly will decrease," he said.
The artwork exhibited, he said, is one part of the creative economy sector that must continue to be strengthened. "So along with that, we strongly support everything related to the development of Malang City in the future. Especially during this pandemic, the concentration of the central and regional governments is economic recovery," he explained further.
Mayor Sutiaji appreciated the artists for their extraordinary dedication, as well as the collaboration of various parties that was created. He also continued to remind about the health protocols that must be adhered to and implemented.
"Micro PPKM continues to be implemented, however, the economic taps are starting to open little by little so that our economic growth continues to increase," he continued.
Meanwhile, artist Sadikin Pard expressed that it is an extraordinary happiness to be able to share and provide benefits to others. According to Sadikin, he has shortcomings, but does not give up and continues to work hard.
"I was born from a mother who sells pecel rice. I have lived in YPAC Solo, and YPAC Malang. I have to see my younger siblings who we have to prepare for their future. Hopefully this will be a happiness in the month of Ramadan for my younger siblings in YPAC," he hoped.

Sadikin Pard who lives in Malang is a disabled Indonesian painter with extraordinary achievements. By carrying the diversity of colors in cultural arts, landscapes and also world flora, the collaboration between the botanical painter IDSBA and the impressionist painter Sadikin Pard is expected to provide knowledge and raise awareness.
"Concern for the condition of the surrounding environment from the phenomena that appear in society. In addition, it also raises appreciation for biodiversity, including flora and fauna in it," said Sadikin Pard.
This exhibition also aims to donate to the Disabled Foundation as a form of artist concern for the impact of the pandemic.
Present at the event were Malang Mayor Sutiaji, IDSBI Chairman, impressionist artist Sadikin Pard, Head of the Malang City Education and Culture Office (Disdikbud) Suwarjana, SE., MM, Head of the Malang City Communication and Informatics Office (Diskominfo) Muhammad Nur Widianto, S.Sos, and related parties.
