"The recommendations submitted by the DPRD, I think are normative and those are notes that must be done together. But we also need to remember that in 2020 it was a national situation due to Covid-19," said Sutiaji.

For example, he said, the Malang City Government's income fell by around eight point something percent from the target of 100 percent. In 2020 it was only 91 point something percent. This means that the Malang City Government has done a lot, but because of the situation and conditions, it may cause a discrepancy in the achievements under normal conditions. "This is a new normal condition. Thank you, this will be our (Malang City Government) note," he continued.

Regarding the issue of eight strategic targets that have not been achieved, Sutiaji stated that on the track or still on track if Malang City does not enter the Covid-19 pandemic. All economic growth positions are disrupted by the Covid-19 pandemic.

"However, the Malang City Government will continue to improve various sectors so that the target can be achieved. One way is through performance auctions and translated into the Malang City Regional Development Work Plan (RKPD)," explained Sutiaji.

"Officially, the recommendations submitted by the people's representatives have been agreed to become DPRD Decisions," continued Sutiaji.

Meanwhile, Malang City DPRD Chairperson I Made Riandiana Kartika said that his party had divided the recommendations into four parts, according to the number of existing commissions. This recommendation process was carried out by 45 DPRD members.

"So we have discussed this through review and study. Then it was deepened through the commission in the DPRD, concluded by the Budget Agency. We see all recommendations from each commission as important," he explained.

From the government and legal sector, the DPRD requested that vacant positions be filled immediately. Then related to the arrangement of positions not based on desire but according to need. In the economic and financial sector, he continued, there are several notes related to the deficit that must be closed in 2021.

In the field of development, the DPRD emphasized the problem of flooding and the existence of several buildings whose use has not been optimized.

"In the social sector, the most notes are related to the handling of the Covid-19 pandemic, the data of which is inaccurate, improving health services. Earlier, there was a note that we asked to relocate the Bareng Health Center so that it can be placed strategically. Later, the Bareng Health Center will become a green open space (RTH), because the relocation is also in RTH. Hopefully this year it can be implemented soon," explained I Made Riandiana. (ari/ram)
