Klojen (malangkota.go.id) – Malang City Government is serious in its efforts to handle the Covid-19 pandemic. One of its efforts is to follow up on the central government's policy which has implemented a policy of eliminating the Eid al-Fitr 1442 Hijri homecoming on May 6-17, 2021 through the Covid-19 Task Force Circular Letter Number 13 of 2021 concerning the Prohibition of Eid al-Fitr Homecoming and Control of Covid-19 during the Holy Month of Ramadan 1442 H.
Then, the policy was followed by an addendum to the Circular Letter of the Head of the Task Force Number 13 of 2021 concerning the Prohibition of Eid Homecoming and Control of Covid-19 during the Holy Month of Ramadan 1442 H. The addendum contains the tightening of requirements for Domestic Travelers (PPDN) during D-14 of the homecoming ban (April 22 - May 5, 2021) and D+7 of the homecoming ban (May 18-24, 2021).
As a preparatory step, the Malang City Government held a Readiness Roll Call for Securing the Homecoming Ban for Eid al-Fitr 1442 Hijriah in the front yard of Malang City Hall, Monday (26/4/2021).
Malang Mayor, Drs. H. Sutiaji said that his party is not playing around with the homecoming ban. Why are so many personnel involved, such as State Civil Apparatus (ASN)? Because ASN must be an example so that they do not play around with the homecoming ban.
"All communities are also present and are an inseparable part that the efforts conveyed by the central government regarding controlling Covid-19 can be completed. There is no more turmoil, no fluctuation in the addition of Covid-19," said Sutiaji.
Regarding ASN who must be an example to comply with the homecoming ban, Sutiaji said that the Malang City Government will continue to enforce application-based attendance for all ASN. In the Malang City Government there is the Latest Attendance Information System (Sipreti) application. This application shows the location, automatically ASN must be absent. One day is not only twice, but one day three times, morning, afternoon, and evening.
"We enforce it even though it's a holiday because this is a prohibition so that they don't go home. Later, the punishment will be based on Government Regulation Number 53 of 2010 concerning Civil Servant Disciplinary Regulations. For ASN who violate and disobey, there will be rules," he explained.
Mayor Sutiaji also said that his party will strengthen the Implementation of Micro Community Activity Restrictions (PPKM) in RT and RW. Because it is precisely at this level that they better understand the situation where new people arrive. If there are indeed new people, then the community must also be more sensitive by reporting to the RT and RW apparatus. The Health Center is also prepared to carry out rapid antigen tests for every homecoming traveler who arrives.
"Of course there are punishments that must be given (to travelers), one of which is social punishment where there are isolation houses in each local area," continued Sutiaji in front of the Forkopimda, ASN, and the community.
Meanwhile, Malang City Police Chief, Senior Commissioner Leonardus Simarmata said that Malang City is in the middle. So the main blockade is carried out in the Malang Regency and Batu City areas.
"But we will still provide assistance and reinforcement. So what is certain is that later on the Madyopuro Toll Road we will place personnel for blocking. Other points will later be a consideration for us. We will deploy approximately 300 personnel," he explained. (ari/ram)
