Malang, (malangkota.go.id) – Amid the rules prohibiting homecoming for Eid al-Fitr 1442 Hijri and the blocking of vehicles at the boundaries of Malang City, Malang Regency and Batu City, the Indonesian Journalists Association (PWI) of Malang Raya held a sharing event.
This time the target was the officers of the blockade by distributing energy drinks and mineral water. As seen on Saturday (8/5/2021) the Head of PWI Malang Raya, Cahyono along with a number of administrators went around distributing the two types of drinks.
According to him, perhaps this assistance is not much, but at least this event is a form of concern from the oldest journalistic organization in Indonesia for those in need.
"The officers carry out their duties day and night even though they are fasting. If not us who care for each other, who else. Moreover, this is a month full of blessings, where we must make the most of this moment," added Cahyono.
Meanwhile, regarding the homecoming ban, he also invited all parties to obey it. The reason is, because Covid-19 cases will experience a significant upward trend if residents go home.
