Klojen, (malangkota.go.id) – Conditioning the Eid al-Fitr 1442 Hijri prayer which will fall on Thursday (13/5/2021), the Malang City Government continues to coordinate to ensure that worship continues to run smoothly.

Therefore, the Mayor of Malang, Drs. H. Sutiaji, reminded again at the coordination meeting at the Ngalam Command Center (NCC) Malang City Hall to continue to comply with health protocols, Monday (10/5/2021).
"To ensure everything runs smoothly, we coordinate with the TNI and Polri ranks as well as religious figures in Malang City. This effort is a serious part of the Malang City Government so that there is no explosion in the spread of Covid-19," said Sutiaji.
Sutiaji said that Eid al-Fitr 1422 H is likely to fall on Thursday (13/5/2021). For this reason, the Malang City Government continues to anticipate, including appealing to the public not to be careless about health protocols.
"According to the direction of the Governor of East Java, Malang City can hold Eid prayers based on zoning. However, not zoning as a whole, but zoning based on Micro PPKM," explained Sutiaji.
"I urge the public to perform Eid prayers in their respective areas at the nearest location," said Sutiaji.
In order for the implementation of Eid al-Fitr prayers to comply with health protocols, the Malang City Government will step in to organize it on the day itself. Later, the Malang City Government will involve various related elements, including religious organizations.
The intended arrangement includes the rows during the Eid prayer. Then each congregation is required to bring prayer equipment from their respective homes and come to the prayer location in a clean state, to the rules for the process of disbanding the congregation so that crowds do not form.
"Pray for Eid al-Fitr at the nearest places of worship. If you are in RW five, you don't have to go to RW nine. In addition, you must also avoid shaking hands. I use hand sanitizer, for example, but it is still recommended not to shake hands," concluded Sutiaji. (cah/ram)
