League Permit Dropped, Arema FC: This is a Mandate to Maintain Health Protocols

Malang, (malangkota.go.id) – The news of the issuance of permits for League 1 and League 2 matches from the National Police Headquarters received a positive response from Arema FC. The management of the Singo Edan team said that this was a mandate of health protocols that must be maintained.

The media officer of the team with the lion's head logo, Sudarmaji, said on Monday (24/5/2021) that his party greatly appreciated the intensive steps taken by the Minister of Youth and Sports, National Police Headquarters, BNPB, Covid-19 Task Force and PSSI who continued to move, continued to be serious and focused on discussing the matter of permits for holding the 2021 competition.

"We, the club, are ready to carry out the directives and any discussions related to this matter, especially in preparing and implementing health protocol regulations which are the focus of the parties related to the implementation of the 2021 competition," he added.

Arema FC also gave appreciation to the police who are consistent in protecting the competition event related to the people's livelihood. "We also welcome the police's steps to protect this competition event by being ready to synergize and carry out the police's direction so that the league runs safely, healthily and competitively," said Sudarmaji.

"Regarding when the permit will be issued, of course we trust the National Police Headquarters, Menpora, PSSI, BNPB will decide the best. However, in substance, the most important thing is for the club to socialize the regulations which include technicalities related to health protocols," he explained.

The National Police Headquarters itself stated that it would issue permits for League 1 and League 2 no later than May 27, 2021. This certainly makes the club more focused on making preparations to welcome the competition which is planned to be held in early July 2021. (say/ram)
