Klojen, (malangkota.go.id) – The assessment of the urban farming competition initiated by the Malang City Food Security and Agriculture Service (Dispangtan) began by the jury team, Monday (24/5/2021). The jury team consists of Dispangtan and Radar Malang.
As seen in the backyard of the Malang City DPRD Office, the jury team conducted a thorough assessment. The Malang City DPRD Office also greened the backyard with vegetable plants.
Secretary of the Malang City Agriculture and Food Security Agency, Eny Handayani confirmed that starting today, the assessment of the urban farming competition throughout Malang City will be carried out. This competition has two categories, namely the dasa wisma group in the sub-district and the regional apparatus group. "The assessment of the urban farming competition starts from May 24, 2021 to June 21, 2021," Eny explained.
Today the jury team conducted an assessment at the Malang City Bappeda, Satpol PP, BKD, Inspectorate, and also in the environment of the Secretary of the Malang City DPRD Council. This activity is expected to increase the use of limited land in meeting family needs.
"This competition is part of Dispangtan's efforts to educate on the use of limited land in meeting family nutritional needs," explained Eny. (cah/ram)
