The Mayor of Malang, Drs. H. Sutiaji, officially launched the Si Melon Ijo application

The Si Melon Ijo application is the result of collaboration between the Malang City Government through the Assistant for Economic and Development of the Malang City Regional Secretariat as the project leader with creative people in Malang City, Pertamina, and the National Oil and Gas Entrepreneurs Association (Hiswana Migas).

Mayor Sutiaji when giving directions expressed his gratitude and appreciation for the launching of the Si Melon Ijo application. He hopes that this application will not stop here. Moreover, currently control related to 3 kilogram cylinders is very important.

"I ask that the value of the benefits of Si Melon Ijo be measured, namely after and before this application is launched. So later there will be testimonials during the trial on the 20 agents regarding the value of the benefits, including the beneficiaries, Pertamina and also Hiswana Migas," said Sutiaji.

The greater benefit of this application, according to Sutiaji, is the rights of the community as beneficiaries. This must be strengthened.

Meanwhile, the Assistant for Economy and Development of the Malang City Regional Secretariat, Ir. Diah Ayu Kusuma Dewi, MT, revealed the purpose of developing the Si Melon Ijo application, to realize the resolution of subsidized LPG monitoring problems through a technology utilization approach in monitoring and evaluating as well as complaints about problems related to subsidized 3-kilogram LPG.

"Before the technological approach, he said that the monitoring carried out was very periodic, limited to sampling and could not display complete and routine data presentations. This is the main emphasis in the development of Si Melon Ijo," he explained.

Now after the process, this system has gone through a trial process, evaluation and technical guidance for prospective system users. "God willing, this is ready to be used by 20 agents and 600 bases and residents who will submit complaints related to subsidized 3-kilogram LPG in Malang City," he explained further.

As a project leader, Diah said that her party realized that in this initial initiation process it is very natural to encounter obstacles. "Together with creative people from Malang City, Pertamina and Hiswana Migas, we are ready to collaborate to make improvements for the sake of improving the system," she concluded.

On this occasion, a statement of commitment and support for Si Melon Ijo was also signed in increasing the synergy of monitoring the distribution of subsidized 3-kilogram LPG in Malang City.
