Malang (malangkota.go.id) – The Malang City Government through the Goods and Services Procurement Services Section held a Technical Guidance activity on the Preparation of Self-Estimated Prices (HPS) for Construction for Commitment Making Officers (PPK) and Technical Activity Implementing Officers (PPTK) in the Malang City Hall courtroom, Thursday (17/6/2021).

"The purpose of this activity is so that PPK and PPTK can prepare HPS and work contracts properly. So that the procurement process of goods/services can be carried out in accordance with applicable laws and regulations. And also the implementation of work runs safely and avoids unwanted legal risks," said the Head of BLP Goods/Services of Malang City Government, Drs. R. Widjaya Saleh Putra.
R. Widjaya Saleh Putra said that the pandemic conditions actually made the economic atmosphere continue to be more active, especially in Malang City. "Starting in 2019 and during the 2020 pandemic, construction tenders were still carried out on the instructions of the leadership. With the hope that the economy in Malang City will continue to run and grow during the pandemic. In Malang City in particular, this construction is attracting attention," he explained.
Thus, he continued, through the technical guidance activities that have been routinely carried out every year, it can provide benefits on how to compile a good HPS. Because HPS affects how his party conducts evaluations including making contracts later. So that in its implementation it can run well.
According to him, in the preparation of HPS, the cost component of the Construction Safety Management System (SMKK) must be considered. So that this technical guidance activity was also attended by BPJS Ketenagakerjaan. As stated in the Regulation of the Minister of Public Works and Public Housing of the Republic of Indonesia Number 07/Prt/M/2019 concerning Standards and Guidelines for Procurement of Construction Services.
"Through the provider that SMKK becomes a component that must be considered. Because it is part of the construction work implementation management system in order to implement security, safety, health, and sustainability in every construction work," he explained.
This technical guidance activity brought in speakers from the Procurement of Goods/Services Section (BPBJ) of Pasuruan Regency. His background is in Civil Engineering with a history of experience in the Government Procurement of Goods/Services Policy Institute (LKPP) and Procurement of Goods/Services (PBJ). The technical guidance was attended by related regional apparatuses within the Malang City Government who have construction work. (eka/ram)
