Malang (malangkota.go.id) – Malang City Police Chief, AKBP Budi Hermanto who replaced Senior Commissioner Pol. Leonardus Simarmata is a figure who has good performance, discipline, and consistency. He is also not a new person, because the police chief who is often called Buher was once the Batu City Police Chief.
This was conveyed by the Mayor of Malang, Drs. H. Sutiaji after attending a friendly event with the Chief of Police Buher at the Malang City Police Headquarters, Friday (18/6/2021). It is known that the handover of the position of the Chief of Police of Malang City was held at the East Java Regional Police Headquarters one day earlier.
On this occasion, Mayor Sutiaji also expressed his gratitude to Senior Commissioner Pol. Leonardus Simarmata for having done so much for Malang City. The bespectacled man also prayed for Leonardus to be more successful in his new place.
Meanwhile, for the new Malang City Police Chief, Sutiaji admitted that he would continue to strengthen his synergy in various matters, especially in the economic recovery of the community which was contracted due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The most important and key thing right now is strong synergy with various parties so that whatever the problem is, it will be resolved properly.
"We hope that Mr. Budi will bring many changes for the better for Malang City and all its citizens, especially in terms of security and order. We are optimistic and believe that all of that will be realized well. Whatever is done together, the results will also be maximized," concluded Sutiaji. (say/ram)
