Malang (malangkota.go.id) – The Malang City Government through the Public Works, Spatial Planning, Housing and Residential Areas Agency (DPUPRPKP) held a Socialization of Public Infrastructure, Facilities and Utilities (PSU) in 2021 Coordination of the Implementation of PSU Handover in Malang City, Monday (21/07/2021).
Malang Mayor, Drs. H. Sutiaji said that the government in this case continues to encourage people to have home ownership. How these facilities are fulfilled, so that the local government must provide support to developers.
"The support is in terms of ease of licensing, so that the availability and ownership of PSU are met properly," explained Sutiaji at the Aria Gajayana Hotel, Malang.
To date, a total of 109 housing complexes have submitted PSU. With details of 17 housing complexes submitted in 2019, 70 housing complexes submitted in 2020 and until June 2021 there were 22 housing complexes that submitted PSU. According to Sutiaji, the government's responsibility is extraordinary because the PSU that has been submitted is included as a regional asset.
"Our task towards the 109 housing estates that have submitted PSU after being inventoried is, when it is damaged and needs maintenance, it is mandatory to build it if it is damaged. Because it has become a regional asset, it is our obligation to maintain it. Developers must also fulfill their rights and obligations," he added.
Head of DPUPRPKP Malang City, Ir. Hadi Santoso said, this socialization activity is an effort to increase the understanding and awareness of housing developers, including regional apparatuses that directly provide services to the community.
"This activity is a strategy to realize smoothness and order in PSU services. So it is necessary to implement PSU socialization related to the consolidation of regional apparatus institutions for bureaucratic alignment in order to complete the handover of BSU in Malang City," he said.
Regarding this PSU, he said, the Malang City Government has a Regional Regulation (Perda) of Malang City Number 2 of 2013 concerning Infrastructure, Facilities and Public Utilities. This is an effort to understand the recovery of information and find joint solutions for interested parties in the handover of PSU.
"What is really needed is planning, handling of PSU handover comprehensively by considering various related aspects. So that handling of PSU handover can run well, effectively, on target, integrated, sustainable and can be beneficial for the community. In this activity there are also nine housing estates that hand over PSU," he concluded. (eka/ram)
