Kedungkandang (malangkota.go.id) – The Malang City Communication and Informatics Service (Diskominfo) provided soft skills on photography training to state civil servants (ASN) in the regional apparatus environment and Community Information Groups (KIM) throughout Malang City virtually in the Diskominfo meeting room, Friday (2/7/2021).

Head of the Public Communication and Information Division (KIP) of the Malang City Communication and Information Office, Ismintarti, SP said that this training is an activity to increase the capacity of human resources in 2021. In addition to being carried out offline due to limited space, this activity was also carried out virtually which was attended by all regional apparatus admins and Community Information Groups (KIM) throughout Malang City.
"This activity is an effort to support the smart city program that is currently being developed by Malang City," said Atik, Ismintarti's nickname.
Along with the current development of time, Malang City also activates the delivery of information through social media and websites. This certainly requires the reliability of admin staff to upload quality and interesting photos.
"The goal is for the message delivered to the public to be well understood. Therefore, the quality of the photos posted by the government must be truly interesting," he continued.
Meanwhile, a source from Agence France Presse (AFP) Aman Rochman said, the public or viewers certainly do not want to know what the conditions were when taking pictures. What is clear is that photos published through websites or social media must be perfect. Therefore, when taking photos, it must be done properly and correctly.
"Just by looking at the photo, people should already know the message that is being conveyed. Therefore, when taking photos, do not rush," Aman explained.
From his long experience in the world of photography, Aman clearly explains how to process to produce quality photos. So that the works created can penetrate major media such as the news agency Agence France Presse (AFP), EPA, Xinhua, The Sun, and others.
Aman also explained to the participants about how to produce good photos that meet journalistic standards, and produce a humanistic angle. So that the message to be conveyed can be well captured by the public.
Aman also shared tips on taking good photos, including reducing selfies and increasing photogenics. If you are used to taking pictures with good angles, then the products made by the Malang City Government in the future can be even better. (cah/ram)
