Malang, (malangkota.go.id) – In order to maximize the implementation of the Emergency Community Activity Restrictions (PPKM), the Mayor of Malang, Drs. H. Sutiaji, together with the Malang City Police Chief, AKBP Budi Hermanto, and the Commander of the 0833 Malang City Military District, Lieutenant Colonel Ferdian Primadona, went around the city reminding residents about the dangers of Covid-19, Saturday (3/7/2021).
Mayor Sutiaji together with the Forkopimda conducted a convoy through the main routes of Malang City, starting from the Malang City Police, Pasar Besar, Blimbing Market, Soekarno Hatta area, and Sudimoro.
Sutiaji said today is a stage of socialization to the public so that they know about Emergency PPKM. This is also a joint effort to suppress the spread of Covid-19 which is currently continuing to grow and is worrying.
"This afternoon the stage is still socialization, the nature is still informing the community. This afternoon we will evaluate the development and readiness," said Sutiaji.
Through this Emergency PPKM, it is hoped that there will not be much movement of people who are very vulnerable to Covid-19 transmission. This PPKM is an emergency so it really must be a shared concern and really needs public obedience.
"Business actors who violate the rules will be given strict sanctions. We revoke their business licenses and they are not allowed to reopen," said Sutiaji.
Malang City Government will also turn off Public Street Lighting (PJU) at several points. This is to reduce people's mobility. His party has ordered the Regional Secretary of Malang City Erik Setyo Santoso, ST., MT to check the designated roads.
"Don't let the lights go out, this potholed road will be very dangerous for road users," Sutiaji reminded. (cah/ram)
