Malang (malangkota.go.id) – In the framework of the 61st Adhyaksa Bhakti Day and the 8st Anniversary of Adhyaksa Dharmakarini, the Malang City District Attorney's Office held a mass vaccination on Thursday (7/2021/XNUMX). The vaccination, which was carried out in the yard of the Malang City District Attorney's Office, was intended for hundreds of people consisting of prosecutors, local residents, city transportation drivers and children.

The implementation of the vaccination titled Jaksa Peduli is a form of synergy between the Malang District Attorney's Office and the Malang City Health Office, the Malang City Transportation Office, and the Malang City Communication and Informatics Office. This time, vaccination participants received Sinovac vaccine injections and were followed enthusiastically by participants.
Head of the Malang City District Attorney's Office, Andi Darmawangsa, SH., MH said that this event was a form of concern from the institution he leads for the community. "This vaccination is also an instruction from the Attorney General's Office, in order to continue to suppress Covid-19 cases massively," he explained.
Andi added that his party deliberately targeted city transportation drivers because they are one of the groups of people who are vulnerable to being exposed to the Covid-19 virus. The activities of these drivers are very high and when transporting passengers it is very risky. "We are also taking precautions internally, namely by vaccinating all officials and their families," explained the bespectacled man.
The Mayor of Malang, Drs. H. Sutiaji, who was also present and monitoring the implementation of this vaccination, appreciated the prosecutor's real steps. According to him, the handling and handling of this outbreak is a shared responsibility so that the involvement and concern of various parties are greatly needed.
"Even though they have been vaccinated, residents should still strictly implement health protocols. Vaccines are not for immunity but to reduce the risk of someone being exposed to the virus. Currently, Malang City is in a state of emergency, where Covid-19 cases continue to increase significantly every day," explained the bespectacled man.
Mayor Sutiaji added that the death toll and the number of residents exposed were also very high. Referral hospitals and field hospitals were also starting to fill up. The threat of the emergence of new virus variants such as Alpha, Beta and Delta is very large so that every resident must be vigilant.
The number one person in the Malang City Government also tirelessly advised the public not to do activities outside the home if it is not urgent. "The strongest vaccine is health protocols. Such as always wearing a mask, avoiding crowds and always washing hands at all times," said Sutiaji. (say/ram)
