Malang (malangkota.go.id) – One of the five strategies for handling Covid-19 in Malang City designed by the Mayor of Malang Drs. H. Sutiaji is Malber (Malang shares). This was strongly illustrated in Samaan Village, Klojen District, Malang City, Tuesday (13/7/2021). Residents distributed aid to residents who were in self-isolation (isoman) as a concrete manifestation of the actualization of a resilient village during the Covid-19 pandemic.

It is known that the five strategies for handling Covid-19 include Malpro (Malang buy local products), Malber (Malang share), Malherb (Malang herbal), Maldis (Malang digital service) and Malba (Malang happy).
Samaan Village Head Anang Setiawan, S. AP., M.Si said that this assistance is a self-help of Samaan Village residents to provide moral and material support to residents infected with Covid-19. The assistance from residents is in the form of basic necessities consisting of basic ingredients, such as rice, sugar, cooking oil, instant noodles, coffee, tea, biscuits, milk, sardines, masks, and others.
"In addition, residents also gave cash which was then spent on vegetables and fish, then cooked by residents and delivered to residents who were self-isolating," said Anang Setiawan to MC Kendedes, Wednesday (14/7/2021).
The nominal aid per package is approximately IDR 150 to IDR 200 thousand. This aid is received by all residents who are self-isolating in RW 1 to RW 8 who need to get help. All incoming aid is coordinated by the Covid-19 Task Force Team of Tangguh Samaan Village, then distributed to residents who are self-isolating.

"The source of this assistance comes from all members of the community, both coordinated by the RW head, RT head as PPKM Mikro, and the RW PKK group coordinated by the TP PKK of Samaan Village," he added.
Meanwhile, the Head of the TP PKK of Samaan Village, Weni Anang Setiawan, appealed to the administrators and heads of the RW PKK to work together, care and empathize to provide encouragement and assistance to residents who are undergoing self-isolation.
"Alhamdulillah, from what was collected by the PKK, both in the form of cash and various basic necessities. We also helped the task force team in terms of packing aid into cardboard boxes to be given to residents. All teams in Samaan Village are working together to overcome the pandemic. Because with togetherness, God willing, we are able to ease and provide enthusiasm to get through this pandemic," he continued.
The compact Samaan sub-district, he said, has the jargon of "togetherness" to build empathy and concern for residents to have common ownership, because everything is for the residents by the residents.

Knowing the solidarity of the Samaan residents, the Mayor of Malang, Drs. H. Sutiaji, gave a positive appreciation. Because in the midst of this pandemic, residents who are self-isolating must be given encouragement and support so that their immunity increases and they can recover quickly. Mayor Sutiaji also appealed to residents to always comply with health protocols so that healthy people do not get infected with Covid-19.
"Let's give support to residents infected with Covid-19. Don't isolate them, let's help as much as we can. God willing, this Covid-19 pandemic will soon pass and we can live normally again. The key is, let's all comply with health protocols and government policies," he said. (ram)
