Starfruit (malangkota.go.id) – Efforts to overcome Covid-19 continue to echo in Malang City with various programs. This time, the Malang Financial Services Authority (OJK) also held vaccinations for 1.120 people at the OJK Office on Jalan Letjen Sutoyo, Malang, Saturday (24/7/2021).
Malang Mayor Drs. H. Sutiaji said that he greatly appreciated what OJK Malang had done to handle the Covid-19 pandemic. This activity is a form of direct empathy for the Malang City Covid-19 volunteers who have been so extraordinary in their duties.
"We are very grateful and welcome this activity. Hopefully this activity will be followed by other parties to fight Covid-19 together," said Sutiaji.
This activity is very good in accelerating vaccination for the people of Malang City. This is also a real manifestation to be able to work together to build strength in the community in suppressing the spread of Covid-19.
Head of OJK Malang Sugiarto Kasmuri said that this Covid-19 vaccination was carried out for the second time. Previously, on May 17-28, 2021, OJK Malang vaccinated 3.229 people and this second vaccination was attended by 1.120 people.
"This vaccination is a collaboration with OJK Malang, Bank Indonesia Malang, Regional Banking Consultative Body (BMPD), and Financial Services Industry Communication Forum (FKIJK)," he said.
The vaccination participants consist of payment system service providers, foreign exchange business actors, rupiah money management service providers, and money transfer companies domiciled in Malang City.
In this activity, he said, assistance was distributed in the form of basic necessities, supplements, and cash to 173 Covid-19 volunteers in Malang City. This is a form of appreciation and empathy from OJK Malang towards the volunteers who have struggled to help the community. (cah/ram)
