Malang (malangkota.go.id) – Malang Mayor Drs. H. Sutiaji inaugurated Ir. Diah Ayu Kusumadewi, MT as Head of the Public Works, Spatial Planning, Housing and Settlement Areas Agency (DPUPRPKP) of Malang City at the Malang Mayor's Office, Monday (26/7/21). Diah Ayu replaces Ir. Hadi Santoso who retired several months ago.
Mayor Sutiaji emphasized that carrying out the mandate anywhere is a duty and responsibility as a state civil servant (ASN) which he believes will not feel heavy if you always study and study.
"Judging from her competence, God willing, Mrs. Diah is not in doubt. It remains how we strengthen her management and leadership. Collaborate with all parties," said Sutiaji.
The woman who loves culinary, batik, and cultural heritage previously had strategic experience as the Assistant for Economy and Development of the Malang City Regional Secretariat, Acting Head of the Malang City Environmental Service (DLH), and Acting Head of the Malang City Food Security and Agriculture Service (Dispangtan).
The inauguration of the friendly woman born in 1970, adds to the list of Malang City 'srikandi' who are trusted to occupy strategic positions in the Malang City Government. It is noted that the Head of the Youth, Sports and Tourism Agency (Disporapar) of Malang City, the Head of the Social Service, Women's Empowerment, Child Protection, Population Control and Family Planning (P3AP2KB) of Malang City, and the Acting Head of the Malang City Dispangtan are currently also held by female figures.
"This is proof that we are committed to realizing gender mainstreaming (PUG) in various dimensions of regional government administration," said Sutiaji.
Mayor Sutiaji asked the newly inaugurated Head of DPUPRPKP Malang City to start working today. The goal of the Malang City Government is to continue efforts to achieve performance indicators that have been set in the Malang City Medium-Term Development Plan (RPJMD). "Fast, precise, accurate and innovative," said Sutiaji.
