"The Malang City Government continues to work hard to help the community overcome Covid-19 with various efforts," added Mayor Sutiaji.

Sutiaji revealed from the evaluation conducted with the Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs and Investment (Menko Marves) Luhut Binsar Panjaitan, the high number of Covid-19 deaths was not only due to the vaccine not yet arriving. However, the Covid-19 death rate cannot be separated from the initial handling which was still not optimal.

"From this reality, I invite village heads, sub-district heads, and health workers to continue to provide literacy to the community down to the smallest level in RT/RW," explained Sutiaji.

Sutiaji said that his party continues to invite the public to obey health protocols, carry out first aid if there are people affected by Covid-19. In addition, helping residents undergo self-isolation or taking action if they have to be taken to the hospital.

"It is our shared responsibility to strengthen starting from the RT/RW level and equip the community to be agile in handling Covid-19," explained Sutiaji.

If the Micro PPKM continues to be strengthened to the RT/RW level properly, Sutiaji is sure that the handling of Covid-19 in Malang City will be completed soon. This is a shared task to improve the ability of the community at the RT/RW level so that they can be more competent, both in initiating health, food security, information security, and other resilience.

"The community can be more optimal in building resilience to face Covid-19 down to the smallest level. It is a shared task for the village heads, sub-district heads, and health workers to work together without knowing the time to help the community. Hopefully, the hard work of helping the community 24 hours without knowing the time will get many rewards and blessings," he concluded. (cah/ram)
