Klojen (malangkota.go.id) – The Malang City Regional Revenue Agency (Bapenda) held the 2021 Virtual Tax Awareness Festival at the Mini Block Office Hall, 4th Floor, Malang City Hall, Wednesday (28/7/2021). This event is a form of appreciation from the Malang City Government for public awareness in paying taxes, especially Urban Land and Building Tax (PBB).

Malang Mayor Drs. H. Sutiaji expressed his appreciation and gratitude to the Malang City Bapenda for its achievements in the second quarter that reached the target. "I am sure that in August, hopefully the target from the third quarter will be met. This means that the work and tips from our friends at Bapenda have gone well," said Sutiaji.
Mayor Sutiaji also expressed his appreciation and gratitude to all village heads and sub-district heads who continue to encourage the achievement of Malang City Government's PBB to reach 100 percent. "This activity is limited by time, invited guests, and implementation that does not exceed 20.00 WIB considering that currently it is still the extension period of PPKM Level 4," he continued.
Meanwhile, Head of Bapenda Malang City Dr. Handi Priyanto, AP., M. Si revealed the purpose of this event so that regional tax revenues, especially from the PBB sector, can run optimally. While the goal is to foster the spirit and awareness of the community to make timely Urban PBB payments.
"We also provide appreciation and awards in the form of rewards by drawing lots for people who have paid their Urban PBB on time," said Handi Priyanto.
Handi said that the 2021 Tax Awareness Festival was not held by inviting many people. Because Malang City is still in a pandemic period, it was held virtually. Handi also expressed his gratitude to Bank Jatim Malang Branch, as well as the Tax Awareness Group as Bapenda partners in distributing the 2021 PBB SPPT.
At this event, awards were given to the village heads and sub-district heads because the people in their areas paid the most PBB 2021. The Lowokwaru Sub-district Head with a total of 26.766 NOP paid in full, the Kotalama Village Head with 4.403 NOP lnas, the Karangbesuki Village Head with 4.056 NOP paid in full, and the Mojolangu Village Head with 3.860 NOP paid in full.
After the award ceremony, the ranks of the Malang City Forkopimda took turns pressing the draw button to determine 16 winners. The main prize of a car was won by Tjong Louis Panghadi, a resident of Jalan Jaksa Agung Suprapto, Malang City.
The prizes drawn include two gas stoves, two refrigerators, two washing machines, four folding bicycles, two 32 LED TVs, four motorbikes, and the main prize is a car. (yon/ram)
