Klojen (malangkota.go.id) – Malang Mayor Drs. H. Sutiaji delivered the General Budget Policy (KUA) and Temporary Budget Ceiling Priority (KUA-PPAS) of Malang City 2022 at the plenary meeting of the Malang City DPRD, Wednesday (28/7/2021). At the virtual plenary meeting, Sutiaji delivered the target for Malang City's regional revenue in 2022 of IDR 2,3 trillion, Wednesday (28/7/2021).

The amount comes from several projections, including local revenue (PAD) of Rp1,5 trillion. Regional transfer revenue of Rp1,186 trillion, and other regional revenue of Rp65,8 billion.
Mayor Sutiaji also said that the regional spending aspect in the 2022 budget year was rationalized. This is considering that regional income in 2021 experienced a decline. "The target for regional spending in Malang City in 2022 is IDR 2,409 trillion," explained Sutiaji.
The total expenditure consists of operational expenditure of Rp2,26 trillion. Capital expenditure is projected at Rp362 billion, unexpected expenditure (BTT) of Rp20 billion. From these projections, the revenue projection is smaller than the expenditure projection. This means that there is a difference of Rp104 billion.
"The difference or shortfall in spending will be met from the remaining financing receipts, one of which comes from the Budget Calculation Surplus (Silpa) of the previous budget year," added Sutiaji.
Meanwhile, Malang City DPRD Chairperson I Made Riandiana Kartika said that this meeting was the initial stage for discussing the KUA-PPS APBD for the 2022 fiscal year in the legislative realm. After this, his party will immediately follow up by conducting a study in the next stage through a special committee (Pansus).
"Next Friday-Saturday we will immediately form a Pansus team, then we will immediately hold a hearing with the relevant regional apparatus," added I Made. (cah/ram)
