One of them is mass vaccination for the general public, which are fans or supporters of the Arema FC team, namely Aremania, Aremanita and for the disabled.

Collaborating with three Polres in Malang Raya, the event titled 'Gerai Vaksinasi Merdeka Semeru' in the framework of Arema FC's 34th anniversary received appreciation from the East Java Police Chief, Inspector General of Police. Nico Afianta. As a form of appreciation, the Police Chief also gave a gift in the form of 1.100 doses of vaccine.
While monitoring the implementation of vaccination at the Malang City Police Headquarters, Wednesday (11/8/2021), Chief of Police Nico also invited Aremania and Aremanita to become pioneers in the vaccination program and in implementing strict health protocols.
"We also appreciate that on this anniversary there were no extravagant events, such as convoys or other events that cause crowds, which ultimately trigger the transmission of Covid-19. What Arema FC, Aremania and Aremanita did was very good and could be an example," he added.
Similar statements were made by the Commander of the V Brawijaya Military Command Major General Suharyanto and the Regional Secretary of the East Java Provincial Government, Heru Tjahjono, who also reviewed the implementation of the vaccination. The three high-ranking officials in East Java also received gifts of shawl and Arema FC team shirts from the ranks of the team nicknamed Singo Edan.
In order to continue to increase communal immunity or herd immunity, Chief of Police Nico appealed and invited Aremania and Aremanita to invite their families and neighbors to participate in vaccinations at the nearest health center or hospital. Later, the Police will also add vaccines through three local police stations.
Before attending a coordination meeting with the Forkopimda of East Java and Malang Raya at the BPSDM building, Jalan Kawi 24, Malang City, they symbolically handed over aid to residents affected by the Covid-19 pandemic at the Malang City Police Headquarters.
Meanwhile, Malang City Police Chief AKBP Budi Hermanto welcomed what was initiated by the East Java Police Chief, so that with the intensification of mass vaccination, it will continue to suppress Covid-19.
