The 76-year-old man who is also a former boxer and has achieved proud achievements several years ago, is one of the nation's heroes who must be appreciated. According to Bung Edi, a fighter does not have to take up arms and advance on the battlefield. Someone who presents proud achievements and brings honor to his region can be called a hero.

The bespectacled man added that everyone can learn a lot from the figure of Wongso Susenso who at the age of 76 years, but is still healthy and can enjoy the independence of the Indonesian nation until now. "This independence in essence must be grateful and we must be grateful for what we can enjoy until today. This is all inseparable from the services of the nation's heroes," he continued.

Likewise, regarding the Covid-19 pandemic that is still hitting this country, Bung Edi explained, it is also a test from God Almighty to always be together and resilient. So that later from that resilience, various problems will be solved. "Mr. Wongso is one of the citizens who can be said to be a resilient figure because he also filled this independence well," he explained.

Furthermore, Bung Edi said, maybe the assistance he gave today is not much, but at least it can help Wongso Susenso and his family in meeting their daily needs. "Let's fill this independence with positive things and contribute to the progress of this nation. So that the red and white will continue to fly proudly in the sky until the end of time," he appealed.

Meanwhile, Wongso Susenso admitted that he was very grateful for the attention given by the Malang City Government, which in this case was conveyed by the Deputy Mayor of Malang. "We are very grateful for being noticed, especially during the 76th Anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia this time. Hopefully Malang City will be better in the future and this pandemic will end soon," he said. (say/ram)
