Breadfruit (malangkota.go.id) – Deputy Mayor of Malang Ir. H. Sofyan Edi Jarwoko reviewed the implementation of vaccination for people with disabilities at the Bhakti Luhur Foundation, Jl. Raya Terusan Dieng No. 40, Malang City, Monday (30/8/2021). In this vaccination, the Malang City Government provided the Sinopharm vaccine.

"There are 73 people who were vaccinated, but their health and readiness are being checked first. God willing, there will be an additional 18 people," said the man who is often called Bung Edi after reviewing the implementation of the vaccination.
He added that later the implementation of this vaccination will be carried out gradually door to door for residents with disabilities. Because there are those who are indeed unable to come to the health center or to the vaccination sites.
"Our hope is that from almost 2.927 Malang City residents with disabilities, the vaccination target can be achieved. At least 70 percent, thank God if it can be more than that," hoped Bung Edi.
According to Bung Edi, all Indonesian citizens must receive the same service, including in terms of vaccination. "If we look at their history, it is truly very concerning, many have lost track of their families. These are the things that officers face in the field," he explained.
Therefore, the Malang City Government, through the Dinsos P3AP2KB and the Malang City Health Office, in this case the health center, is carrying out vaccination activities for the disabled. Meanwhile, for the availability of the Sinopharm vaccine for the disabled, Bung Edi said that currently from the 1.000 doses of vaccine available, it continues to move and will definitely be coordinated immediately if there is a shortage.
