Klojen (malangkota.go.id) – The Malang City Government received the distribution of assistance to overcome the Covid-19 pandemic from PT Kino Indonesia, Tbk. Symbolically, the Regional Secretary (Sekda) of Malang City Erik Setyo Santoso, ST., MT represented the Mayor of Malang to receive this social assistance at the Malang City Hall, Tuesday (31/8/2021).
Marketing Promotion Executive PT Kino Indonesia, Tbk Hafidz Assad said that this social assistance is one form of corporate social responsibility (CSR) program. "So this is part of CSR in order to work together with the Malang City Government to help overcome the Covid-19 Pandemic," he explained.
He said, if the CSR given is in the form of products, including hand sanitizer products, sleek handwash and beverage products. "All of these products are delivered directly to the Malang City Government to then be distributed to all levels of society," he added.
Meanwhile, Malang City Regional Secretary Erik Setyo Santoso expressed his highest appreciation and gratitude for the CSR distributed by PT Kino and CV Dimas.
In the current pandemic era, according to him, all lines of life are affected. Collaboration between local governments and stakeholders, as well as business actors by showing concern for citizens in need like this is what is really needed.
"The economy is certainly very impacted, business actors also certainly have things that cannot be avoided in relation to the decline in macro and micro economic aspects," explained Erik.
Erik added that the donations delivered will of course be distributed to people in need. "Collaboration like this does not stop here, but there are many aspects that we can later join hands to provide care to all Malang City residents in need," he concluded. (yon/ram)
